The topics include up-to-date research fields and methodologies, with special emphasis on photoresponsive polymers (photoswitches, photoactuation), photopolymerization and photo-induced reactions in polymeric materials.
This symposium addresses fundamental and applied topics, thus bridging the gap between science and future application. The meeting will bring together scientists and engineers from all areas of polymer photochemistry, and stimulate further research and development in this field.
Frank Wiesbrock of Polymer Competence Center Leoben is one of the invited renowned scientists in this research field.
Sandra Schlögl from PCCL and Thomas Griesser from Montanuniversitaet Leoben are co-organizers of the international symposium, which will bring together leading scientists in the field of polymer photochemistry.
Event: 257th National ACS Meeting in Orlando, Florida, USA
Date: 31th March until 4th April 2019
