The discussions focused on the importance of the COMET programme as a successful bridge between excellent research and industrial application, as well as on the role of Advanced Materials as a key enabling technology for future innovation. Particular attention was given to modern polymers, which are an essential part of this material class and make a significant contribution to sustainable, resource-efficient, and high-performance solutions.

The open exchange on current challenges and future opportunities once again highlighted the importance of close collaboration between research institutions, funding organizations, and industry in strengthening Austria’s position as a leading innovation hub.
