On April 8, 2026, PCCL (Polymer Competence Center Leoben) was awarded the Innovation Award Styria 2026 in the category “Sustainability: R&D Institutions.” The ceremony took place at the Schlossberghotel in Graz and honored outstanding projects with strong future impact.

This recognition highlights PCCL’s leading role in developing sustainable solutions and reinforces our commitment to driving research toward a resource-efficient and innovative future.

Under the motto “Ideas that shape the future,” a total of six projects in two categories were awarded. The event—hosted by Regional Minister for Economy and Research Willibald Ehrenhöfer and SFG Managing Director Christoph Ludwig—also provided an inspiring platform for exchange and networking within Styria’s innovation ecosystem.

We are proud of this achievement and see it as motivation to further advance our sustainability-focused research activities.
