The research team "Kunststoffrohre" of Dr. Andreas Frank (PCCL) and Prof. Gerald Pinter (Montanuniversität Leoben) visited the long-term research partner AGRU Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Bad Hall.

 

The emphasis of the joint research projects is the developement of fracture mechanical tests and lifetime assessment of pipes and sealing membranes. In this context AGRU was also an important partner in the development of the Cyclic Cracked Round Bar (CRB) Test which has been standardized last year (ISO 18489).
