From April 3th to April 5th 2013 the ASPM - the Austrian-Slovenian Polymer Meeting – was held in Bled, Slovenia. One of the most important scientific meetings in Slovenia in 2013 was officially opened by Borut Pahor, the president of the Republic of Slovenia.

The intention of this event is the exchange and cooperation between science, research and industry in the areas of polymer science and polymer engineering beyond the borders of Austria and Slovenia. 250 international scientists and industry representatives from 35 countries - including more than 40 experts of the PCCL and its scientific partners - discussed the progress and potential targets for the use of polymers.
