The team of Gernot Oreski won a Best Poster Award in the "PV Module Performance and Reliability" category at this year's 33rd European Photovoltaic Conference in Amsterdam.
A total of 9 posters from around 800 submissions were awarded. The Poster with the title "Investigation of effects due to encapsulation thickness reduction in light weight modules" was created as part of the project "U-Light", which aims the development of ultra-light PV modules in cooperation with Isovoltaic, ISC Konstanz and Fachhochschule Zürich. The project is funded by the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund as part of the Solar Era Net program.
