Andreas Frank's (PCCL) team won a "Best Paper Award" at this year's ANTEC in Orlando (Florida) for the contribution "Fracture Mechanical Characterization of Non-Virgin Pipe Materials".

At one of the largest polymer conferences in the world, a Special Interest Group dedicated itself to the topic of "Plastic Pipes & Fittings". With a total of six lectures, the Pipe Research Group of the PCCL and the University of Leoben, accompanied by the Institute for Material Physics (IPM) of the Academy of Sciences in the Czech Republic, made an important contribution to a varied programme.
