Our colleague Doc. DI Dr. Andreas Hausberger strengthens the management as a new division manager in the area of "Elastomer Technologies and Process Optimization" starting in July.
We congratulate him and wish him much success for the future!

Our colleague Walter Alabiso won the Lecture Award for his talk on Thiol-Ene Polymerization.
Congratulations!

Date: 15.9 and 16.9.2021
Place: Erzherzog-Johann-Auditorium, Montanuniversitaet Leoben, Franz-Josef-Strasse 18, 8700 Leoben.
The Department of Polymer Engineering and Science will celebrate its 50th birthday!
This golden anniversary should also be celebrated properly, and the stage for this will be the 29th Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science.
We are looking forward to a brilliant event, with a look back at 50 years of history as well as a look forward to a challenging but also promising future.
Since its beginnings, the Department of Polymer Engineering has always followed the trends in science and research. It has grown from two institutes to a strong network of six chairs and has a strong partner in Polymer Competence Center Leoben for more than 15 years.
This field of opportunities and challenges will be discussed at the anniversary colloquium based on three guiding topics.
Smart Production - Sustainability and Polymers - Additive Manufacturing.
