As part of the "second Polymer Night at the FTPO" (Fakulteta za tehnologijo polimerov/Slovenj Gradec) Dr. Andreas Hausberger (Teamleader "Polymertribologie") was invited to a lecture titled "Friction and wear of technical plastics - Opportunities and challenges".
At this event, the results of the project on "Integrated measuring system for the optical surface inspection of high-quality plastic parts" funded by the FTI initiative "Produktion der Zukunft" will be presented to a wide audience. Leoben composite experts from the PCCL and Kunststofftechnik Leoben (Chair of Processing of Composites) were represented at the 21st International Conference on Composite Materials from 20 - 26 September 2017 in Xi'an, China, with 3 lectures. The conference itself was the largest international conference on this highly promising topic with a total of around 300 sessions.
