Project "Infinity" successfully completed

In the INFINITY project, the influence of different climatic conditions on photovoltaic (PV) systems was investigated for the first time. 14 partners from science and industry achieved pioneering results for a new generation of photovoltaic systems. The Polymer Competence Center Leoben was one of the five scientific partners of this successful project.

At this event, the results of the project on "Integrated measuring system for the optical surface inspection of high-quality plastic parts" funded by the FTI initiative "Produktion der Zukunft" will be presented to a wide audience. As part of the stakeholder dialogue on production, the results of the projects funded through the FTI initiative "Produktion der Zukunft" will be presented to a wide audience, especially from the fields of "Efficient, resource-efficient and robust production processes or flexible, networked, automated and versatile production".

PCCL at the largest ICCM-21 international conference in Xi'an

Leoben composite experts from the PCCL and Kunststofftechnik Leoben (Chair of Processing of Composites) were represented at the 21st International Conference on Composite Materials from 20 - 26 September 2017 in Xi'an, China, with 3 lectures. The conference itself was the largest international conference on this highly promising topic with a total of around 300 sessions.
