Josef Krainer Promotion Award for Simone Radl

Since its inception in 2002, the PCCL enables women equal opportunities in research and technology. That the strategic measures taken are bearing fruit can be shown not only by a women's quota of 44% but in particular by the successful female researchers at the PCCL. Hence Ms. Simone Radl was awarded the Josef Krainer Promotion Award 2016 for her work on "Smart Polymers".

LIVING STANDARDS AWARD 2016 for PCCL

The AUSTRIAN STANDARDS - the platform for the creation of standards in Austria - awards the LIVING STANDARDS AWARD to companies for exemplary services around standards. The PCCL - in close cooperation with the Department Polymer Engineering and Science of the Montanuniversität Leoben - received the LIVING STANDARDS AWARD 2016 for the development of a testing method for durability of gas- and waterpipes.

Researchers of PCCL and the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science have brought home the poster award for their presentation "Acetic Acid Transmission Rates of PV Backsheets" at the European PV and Solar Energy Conference in September 2015.

PPS 2015 - A Review

The Polymer Processing Society Conference 2015 in Graz which was held from September 21-25, 2015, was a meeting place for more than 400 international experts and top researchers from 32 nations. We hope all PPS participants enjoyed the PPS conference and the beautiful scenery and historical sites of Graz as well.
